Karen Nyamu Exposed by Kotex for False Claims 

Earlier on Sunday, the 30th of June 2024, nominated senator Karen Nyamu boldly claimed to have struck a deal with Kotex. 

The deal, as purported by Karen, was to provide free tampons to girls in slums. 

 

It’s worth noting that recently, Karen has been in hot soup, particularly for her careless remarks. The nominated senator, keen to please her boss, President Ruto, has found herself in trouble multiple times. 

In this particular instance, Kotex came out guns blazing, terming the nominated senator’s announcement as FALSE. 

The company, which specializes in menstrual hygiene products, stated the following… 

“Kotex hereby confirms that no discussion or conversation has taken place with Karen Nyamu.“ The statement further reads, “Any assertions regarding a prospective partnership involving Kotex are entirely false.” 

Check out the post published by Kotex, which was barely hours after Karen’s initial post. 

The Bottom Line: Karen’s Popularity Fading Significantly 

Almost everyone seems upset with the nominated Senator, arguing she did not get elected in the first place. She infamously stated that she’s unbothered by price increments for female pads as she uses tampons, which saw her receive thousands of dislikes on her social media platform. 

The nominated senator has also been under pressure for her unwavering support for the finance bill, claiming the president is right. She’s supported tax increments infamously, claiming it doesn’t affect the common mwananchi and that only the rich people are targeted. 

Let’s not forget the hate she’s received for breaking up Samido’s family. As a result, she has lost thousands of followers on her social media handles. 

For a country struggling with economic issues, it beats logic for a nominated senator to have 3 security guards, an office assistant, and a driver – that’s a nominated senator, for Pete’s sake!!  – my opinion though.
