Ndeda joined Radio Africa Group back in 2012 when he took over from Fareed Khimani. He left X-FM in March 2019 and joined Kiss FM a month later.
His exit comes months after celebrated yet controversial presenter Andrew Kibe also left the station. Kibe later launched his own online station Rogue Radio. He was later replaced by Jalan’go (Felix Odiwuor) and together with Kamene Goro, they host the morning show Kamene and Jalas.
Nick’s Love For Radio
Ndeda first joined radio after accompanying his brother Jeremy Odhiambo to a radio show audition at Homeboyz Radio. They queued for long hours and when it was Jeremy’s turn, Ndeda decided to leave and wait for him. However, the organizers urged him to also audition since he had queued for long anyway.
Surprisingly, he got the job, his brother didn’t. Stroke of luck maybe? Or fate. Since then he fell in love with radio, later joining Hot 96 then X-FM.
In August last year, Ndeda landed a deal to co-host a Hip hop TV show called What’s Good Africa, together with Remy Majala. The show was made possible through P.Diddy-owned Revolt TV and Los Angeles- based What’s Good Networks.
Ndeda has not announced where his next stint will be at, but we’ll be keeping tabs on this story to keep you informed.
Keep it C.O.K.
