The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives are on the manhunt for a man who is said to have killed his brother. The incident happened at Jerusalema area in Murang’a on the evening of Sunday, 17th January.
Christopher Mburu Wakahiu, is said to have stabbed his brother on the left side of his chest after a misunderstanding. His brother, a businessman, had employed him as a caretaker at his construction site in Murang’a County.
Preliminary Investigations
Initial investigations reveal that the victim had traveled to Gaturi Village in Murang’a to visit his parents over the weekend. He then proceeded to visit his site to assess the progress of the building in construction. The caretaker later joined him and an altercation ensued over an unsolved issue.
During the confrontation the caretaker drew a knife and stabbed this brother deep into the left side of his chest, killing him on the spot.
The suspect is still on the run and detectives are asking the general public for any information on his whereabouts.

This incident comes in the wake of an increase in cases of homicide relating to family members.
Not long ago, the nation was shocked to learn of the murder of four family members and a worker. 22 year old University student Lawrence Warunge is the prime suspect.
Police in Kakamega County are also holding a University student and her step brother in connection to the muder of their mother.
